This incident caused the partial shutdown of the CTA tunnel and the T3 car park.

Two more people are now in custody in connection with a theft at London's Heathrow Airport in which over twenty individuals sustained injuries by a substance believed to be an irritant spray, according to law enforcement.

A man, 24, was arrested in the Lambeth area on suspicion of theft and assault and a 23-year-old woman was detained on suspicion of conspiring to commit a robbery. They both are still being held, authorities confirmed.

These detentions follow a probe into an attack at the multi-level parking garage at Heathrow's Terminal 3 this past Sunday. Prior to the attack, two women had stolen from them their suitcases upon exiting a car park lift.

A toddler aged three was one of the those hurt in the event. Five people were taken to the hospital for treatment and were later discharged.

Police arrested a man in his thirties for suspected theft and assault near the location. He has since been released pending further inquiries while inquiries continue.

Police were called at about 08:10 GMT after reports came in regarding a number of individuals hurt by an irritating chemical believed to be pepper spray.

The assault - which police said was a standalone incident and not being treated as an act of terror - caused train delays and the temporary shutdown of the main airport tunnel and the T3 parking facility briefly.
