Vinted Users Share Frustration Regarding Size Modifications
Members of the platform have expressed outrage following a change that caused products showing incorrect sizing.
The popular resale platform has updated its sizing categories for women's and children's garments failing to inform all shoppers about the modification.

Many shoppers and sellers are posting online claiming that product pages now present a different size category versus the original listing as a result of the reclassification.
Vinted explained the revised method more closely matches comparable marketplaces.
The platform has recommended to review their products and manually change the size when needed, causing user dissatisfaction.
Measurement Approach Modifications
Before the change, the sizing featured numerical and alphabetical indicators, for instance S/8 or M/10.
The new system has a letter and a range for example S/UK 8-10.
In some cases, the sizing has been recategorised - for example a size L used to be a 12 but now shows as UK 16-18.
User Accounts
A fashion influencer, who makes TikTok content about plus-size fashion, said the change "makes both selling and buying harder".
"Rarely do manufacturers list XL as sizes 20-22," as the platform currently indicates.
Another user, from Glasgow, said garments she listed with size 14 tags were showing in the marketplace as measurements 20-22.
"If buyers measuring 20-22 acquire them they're going to be very disappointed," she stated.
Necessary Adjustments
Charlotte Lunn, located in England, stated she felt frustrated because the modification necessitated personal updates the sizes on "every single listing".
"For me this is particularly frustrating, since I have chronic health issues and selling on Vinted has been paramount after experiencing income reduction," she explained.
Marketplace Information
The platform boasts over 100 million users, with 18 million British users.
It has become a favored option versus similar marketplaces including eBay and Depop.
This is not the initial instance that an unexpected update to the app has proved unpopular: last year, the service retracted a modification to its shipping options due to shopper criticism.
